Items in the Consignment area are owned by our members and kept at their homes until sold. If you have something you would like to consign, simply email a photo with full description and price to the Webmaster. It will be listed and anyone interested in purchasing can contact Los Amigos. Their name and contact information will be given to the owner / consignee to contact and work out all details. Often, items are listed which require the interested person to make an offer. Once an item sells, Los Amigos expects 10% as a donation from the seller. Items listed in our Consignment Shop are NOT for sale on ebay. Los Amigos relies on the seller to notify the Webmaster when a sale is made so that only available items are listed at all times. It is possible that sales can be made by word of mouth without contacting the Webmaster but ultimately the sale of any item while listed in the Consignment area is expected to generate a 10% donation from the seller to Los Amigos del Arte Popular.
Though this is not a photo of our gift shop, it is a photo of one of our tianguis or mercados at an event in Santa Monica. Amigos bring items to sell or swap with each other at most events - always lots of fun!
